After posting an ad to the bay area a cappella mailing list titled "I want to sing again." Lisa found One of Each. And to our good luck, One of Each found Lisa.
With over 20 years experience singing in many styles and venues Lisa has come back to her first and true love, a cappella. Lisa was an a cappella pioneer, 18 years ago while at UC Berkeley she transformed the women's octet from the Andrews sisters chestnut singing Decibelles into the hip and stylish California Golden Overtones singing Motown covers and their own arrangement of Madonna's "Material Girl." Having sung in many different venues since then, ranging from Schola Cantorum to Like One and occasionally singing with William Goat and the Twilights, Lisa now splits time between teaching young kids, hanging out with her family, and attempting to raise the estrogen level of One of Each.
