COPIA and the Cabaret Folks
Just a reminder...we'll be singing up at COPIA on Monday, October 13th with all the other winners from the SF Cabaret Competition.
We'll be singing all of two songs, neither of which will be cabaret songs. Eveyone else will probably be singing cabaret songs. I've heard the food is good too!

Neat recording stuff
Having been into the "recording studio" a bit lately, its actually pretty cool to see what can be done on a limited budget. For even smaller setups a decent PC -or laptop- with some software and a USB or firewire connection can be a great start!
There was a decent article on slashdot today.
Also for experimenting with basic sound editing, effects with plugins, and VP riffs; lately I've been playing with a program called 'audacity'. Hey, you can't get any cheaper than free. Circle around the campfire children, its a brand spankin', open source, free-as-in-freedom new world, baby!
